Про что дорама «Грязный стол»
Parasitic Love is an intense psychological drama revolving around the fragile emotional state of Nejiki Mia, a supermarket clerk with low self-esteem. Raised in an abusive household and now living with a controlling mother, Mia's sense of worth is practically non-existent. Her world changes when she falls into an illicit affair with her kind but conflicted store manager. As her attachment to him deepens, so does her desperation, leading her to take extreme measures to help his ailing wife. The story explores how love, when tainted by trauma and obsession, can become toxic and ultimately destructive.
Plot Summary: Nejiki Mia has always lived in the shadow of her past. As a child, she suffered from physical abuse at the hands of her father, and after his death, she was left with her emotionally abusive mother, who exerted control over every aspect of her life. Mia grew up internalizing the belief that she was worthless, incapable of achieving anything or deserving of happiness.
Now, in her twenties, Mia works as a supermarket clerk, where she lives a mundane life, keeping her head down and never attracting attention. She has no friends and feels invisible, believing she has nothing to offer the world. This changes when she begins an affair with her store manager, a man who, unlike anyone else in her life, treats her with kindness and respect. For the first time, Mia feels valued, and she becomes emotionally dependent on him, viewing him as her only source of happiness.
However, her manager is a married man, and his wife is seriously ill. Though he initially indulges Mia's need for affection, guilt and responsibility towards his wife eventually drive him to end the affair. He informs Mia that he must focus on his wife's worsening condition, leaving her devastated and spiraling into despair.
Refusing to accept his decision, Mia becomes obsessed with the idea of saving his wife, believing that if she can cure her, the manager will return to her. Her logic becomes increasingly unhinged as she convinces herself that she must play an active role in the woman's recovery, taking actions that cross ethical boundaries. Mia begins visiting the manager's wife under the guise of being a concerned co-worker, offering support and care, all the while harboring ulterior motives.
Her obsession intensifies when she forms an attachment to the manager's young son. Mia believes that by ingratiating herself into the family, she can create a place for herself in their lives. What begins as a misguided attempt to help slowly transforms into something far more disturbing. She becomes fixated on the family, intruding into their lives more deeply, her affection morphing into a parasitic need to belong.
As Mia’s behavior becomes more erratic, the line between her desire to heal the wife and her own deep-seated need for validation blurs. She starts making increasingly irrational and dangerous decisions, believing she is helping the family, while in reality, her actions are creating turmoil. The story builds tension as Mia's unstable emotional state leads her down a dark path where love and obsession intertwine, revealing the destructive power of unchecked trauma.
